- Dr. Kuraparthy Sambasivaiah, joined Cancer Clinics as Chief Medical Oncologist. He did his medical graduation from S. V. Medical College, Tirupati. 
 
- Later, he obtained post-graduate degree (MD) in Internal Medicine, from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Subsequently, he got his Medical oncology training in Cancer Institute, Chennai.

- He founded and developed medical oncology department at Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati, and trained students in medical oncology. He was a professor of medical oncology.

- He had published several important original research papers, especially on Breast, Lung and Stomach cancers.
